The truth is, a good wedding photography timeline isn’t about squeezing every possible photo into the day. It’s about creating enough space for moments to happen naturally. When a timeline works well, the day feels relaxed, guests aren’t standing around waiting, and couples actually get to enjoy their wedding rather than feeling like they’re being pulled from one thing to the next.

After photographing weddings for many years across venues like Rushpool Hall, Danby Castle Barn, Gisborough Hall, Acklam Hall and Scarborough Spa, I’ve seen first-hand what works — and what causes unnecessary stress.

Some weddings are simply about love — and Ben & Simone’s Middlesbrough Registry Office wedding was exactly that.

With just a small number of guests present — their children — this was one of the most heartfelt, meaningful ceremonies I’ve had the privilege to photograph. Proof that the smallest weddings often carry the biggest emotions.

Bradley and Sophie’s wedding day was one of those occasions that felt easy, genuine, and full of joy from beginning to end. Their ceremony took place at South Shields Town Hall, followed by a relaxed and happy celebration at Hedworth Hall, and it was a real pleasure to capture their day as it unfolded naturally.
