Recently, I had the pleasure of working with the immensely talented classical crossover soprano, Charlotte Potter. The setting for this photo shoot was none other than a scenic beach, where the beauty of the natural landscape perfectly complemented Charlotte's ethereal presence.

As we arrived at the beach, the early morning mist lingered over the horizon, creating a dreamy atmosphere. The light was soft and diffused, ideal for capturing the magical essence of Charlotte's artistry. Dressed in a flowing gown that danced with the gentle sea breeze, Charlotte truly embodied the spirit of her music.

I love my profession, some days its the pressure of weddings, the next its a family portrait then sometimes I get to do something a little different. Charlotte contacted me a few months back about doing a shoot, showcasing the area as part of her new up coming album.

I’ve witness this young man grow from a mear child into the starts of a young adult almost ready for his transition to senior school. I can’t believe hows hes changed over the years. Some lovely simply portraits captured his character perfectly for another year.

I’ve known these guys for a very long time, Ive covered many of their portraits, whether is be christmas family get together or the precious pet portrait. So to continue this almost tradition was a pleasure.

I remember capturing Tom when he was almost the same age as Poppy. I can’t believe how he’s grown. As a portrait photographer, I like to work in an environment that makes the family, children, everyone to be honest literally at home and relaxed. Working in the family home or on location really make a difference to how people react in front of the camera

I love capturing family portrait photography, The North East has some wonderful locations to capture children, families in front of the camera. I find locations shoots so much relaxed and because of that the images I capture look so much more natural. I always feel happy knowing I can let the children be themselves, play and run around.
