If you’re anything like most couples I meet, the words “We’re not very photogenic” probably sound familiar.
You might cringe a little at the thought of being the centre of attention or worry that you’ll look awkward in your photos.
But here’s the truth I’ve learned after photographing hundreds of weddings across Yorkshire and beyond:

Riva and Mabel's Christening at St. Margaret's Church in Brotton with Father Jonathan was a heartwarming event that unfolded on a tranquil Sunday morning.

The historic church, steeped in centuries of stories, set the perfect backdrop for this sacred occasion. Father Jonathan presided over the ceremony with a blend of grace and reverence, leading the attendees through the rituals of baptism while hymns filled the air, infusing the atmosphere with a sense of sanctity.

There’s no need to cry, a wedding can be a stressful and eventful occasion to organise. The important things that need to be put together, the venue, the dress and of course the photographer - I’m a little bias there. Not forgetting the save the dates cards, the table plans and a whole host of tiny things that come together to make your day one to remember.

I love capturing family portrait photography, The North East has some wonderful locations to capture children, families in front of the camera. I find locations shoots so much relaxed and because of that the images I capture look so much more natural. I always feel happy knowing I can let the children be themselves, play and run around.

Another local and favourite venue of mine, do I have any other venue? What can I say, I’m passionate about my profession and love working everywhere I capture weddings. Mark and Joanne’s wedding at Gisborough Hall was special to me. I’ve worked with Joanne for some years as a model and commercially for her work too.
