Paul and Kate came and booked us a while ago now but there wedding date seems to have approached us very fast, i am sure it seemed liked forever for Paul and Kate. This was another Christmas wedding so we were expecting colder weather. When we woke up and looked out of the window that morning we could see the weather wasn’t fantastic it was blowing a gale but on the plus side it wasn’t snowing. We soon got settled into things and got shooting when the bride arrived i must say she looked amazing.
The ceremony went smoothly and the photos were looking fantastic, but when it came to the group shoots there was no way we were going to get the guests outside in this cold weather so we took to the staircase and with military order we got all the guests in the shot, we then moved to the warmth of the fire to do the smaller group shots which worked well and looked lovely. The only shot we needed to do outside was the confetti shot so we got as many guests as we could outside with a bit of persuasion and with plenty of confetti once we had the bride and the groom outside we were ready so on three…… well the wind got hold of it and there was confetti everywhere, plus all in the lens of the camera.
While outside we noticed the wind was making Kate’s long vial flow beautifully, so we did a few arty shots outside with just the two of them, but it was so cold we couldn’t stay outside long, we worked fast so we didn’t end up with a blue freezing cold bride, that doesn’t make for a great photo. Once these were done we went back inside to warm through and keep snapping. We got loads of great images and really enjoyed the day
