Stuart, Kirsty and their team cover every aspect of photography from weddings and portraits to commercial photography. Stuart, also covers wildlife, landscape photography as well as tuition for groups and individuals.

Stuart makes you feel comfortable and at ease in front of the camera during portraits and during weddings. He has had photography as a career for a number of years now, specialising in wedding photography and portrait photography.
Born and breed locally he is passionate about photography and capturing the moment in a special way. Discovery has given him the opportunity to indulge his love of photography, and develop it into a professional career, focusing mainly on weddings and portraits. This love of photography began from an early age with encouragement from his father, Ray Brown, who now specialises in railway photography ( www.raycam.co.uk)
More recently he has become sponsored by Jack Pyke and Wildlife Watching Supplies for his wildlife and landscape photography, to see some of his work then have a cuppa and go to www.discoverywildlifephotography.co.uk Stuart also does press work and has been published in such papers as Telegraph, the Financial Times, Daily mail, his landscapes and wildlife photography has also been published in national magazines.He also does commercial and event photography.
He has covered events for the NorthYork Moors National Park Authority for as many years. His clients include North York Moors National Park Authority, Bike Scene, Cineworld and Rainbow Trust to name a few.

Kirsty is a stunning photographer and a very versatile member of the team, who is always up for a laugh, she always produces top notch images for the client, especially with weddings and portraits.
Having worked with Stuart for two years now she knows the studio well and works well alongside Stuart at weddings capturing the bride getting ready and being around where Stu isnt to capture more of your special day.
Kirsty handles all your post production work, airbrushing those parts you don’t like or enhancing those parts you love. She also keeps busy after your wedding designing your unique wedding album and making it special for you.
Kirsty has recently also starting doing those photo shoots studio sessions which are perhaps a little more delicate, if the client is embarrassed or female often they feel more comfortable with kirsty and she has a way to make you feel beautiful and relaxed in front of the lens.
She also stands in as a model during Stuart’s tuition sessions. Fast becoming the face of Discovery helping out with clients, social networking and keeping Stuart on his toes!!
Jace – James (JJ)

JJ is the newest member of the team working alongside his mummy Kirsty and Dad Stu (well apart from at weddings), he is often the one one who will greet you at the door with a cute “HIYA” and will show you around the gallery to all his favourite artwork.
Been in his cheeky terrible twos and having his big blue eyes he has a way to make the clients smile throughout photo shoot and really know how to work the cute factor to get attention.
The Studio
We expanded our fully equipped Studio and Added a stunning Art Gallery for you to browse beautiful artwork of local artists as well as some of our own landscape and wildlife image. At our Studio we like to make our clients feel comfortable and at home, after all we are a family run business so its important to us to make the atmosphere family friendly.
